This sculpture was originally made in clay over a period of 18 months. Using measurements and photographs taken from the model (a former rugby player of 6' 5") it explores the paradox of physical strength and emotional vulnerability. The fate of man as depicted in the story of Genesis is a story that fascinates me, as I feel it echoes a lot of my own family experiences.
